WL242 module

WL 242The WL242 module is a reliable wireless communication platform suitable for connecting building infrastructure into an easy-to-install, cost-effective network. This IEEE 802.15.4 based, ZigBee protocol compatible 2,4GHz standard was designed for low-power wireless communication in building automation. The module can be used as a plug-in module or integrated into customers designs offering speeds of up to 250kbit/s and indoor range of up to 30m (200m outdoors). The WL242 is also compatible with other ATech’s SmartLine products.

 

ModulATech also makes available a Wireless Personal Area Network protocol called SEW (SmartLine Efficient WPAN protocol) which has similar features as ZigBee but it is much easier to use. Using this protocol users can quickly build reliable networks.
