The Development of Innovation with the Primary School Pupils of Hrpelje

With the cooperation of the Primary school Dragomirja Benčiča Brkina Hrpelje, which is also an active partner in the InCo movement (a movement for innovative breakthrough of Slovenia), for the first time ATech organized business-school workshop on Wednesday, 13 May 2009, at the fire station of  PGD Materija. The aim of the workshop was to encourage young people to creative thinking and the concretization of creative ideas in practice.

Pupils from 5th to 9th classes of the primary school participated at the event at which ATech presented their internal magazine ŠkrATech.  At this year's international conference, the publication received a special award for innovative journalism in Ljubljana, in April. The pupils were able to learn more about ATech's history and ŠkrATech's editorial board presented the creation of ŠkrATech and its importance for employees' work and development. The pupils were invited to actively participate and contribute to the creation of the magazine.

This creative event was concluded with the visit to ATech company where the pupils were able to see company's production which operates under the slogan »Innovative ideas for smart products«.
