ATech's new product: MESBox

The most advanced and efficient companies use the so-called MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) systems to manage their production processes. These allow real-time monitoring and control of production processes and finite planning. For their implementation a quality data logging from machines, automated lines and other production process equipment is of key importance.

For this purpose ATech developed MESBox, a unit capable of retrieval and logging data from machines and other equipment and to elaborate and transfer the data in formats used to run MES systems.

Key features

MESBox is a data collection and elaboration unit designed for the implementation of real-time Manufacturing Execution Systems on the shop floor.

MESBox collects digital and analog data from simple relay activation reading to data retrieval over CAN protocol. MESBox can store, elaborate and transfer data in various formats used in MES and ERP systems for further data elaboration.

MESBox can be complemented with various user interfaces and can directly operate various accessories as for example barcode readers. It is also possible to realise remote control with an optional GPRS unit.

MESBox customers have available the MES DC software for data exchange between MES or ERP type of information systems and the shop floor or MESBoxes. MES DC software is also used to configure the MESBox unit in a fast and simple way.
