One of the most advanced biomass combustion controllers on the market, the FUMIS FP-OXY now features an improved combustion control algorithm. This new algorithm called "Compensated Lambda Control " is available when using the controller with the Lambda probe. It's first application is a medium power pyrolitic (wood gasification) firewood boiler. The performance of the combustion process is significantly more stable in comparison to the products available on the market. The stable combustion results in stable lambda value, combustion temperature and is reflected in lower undesired gaseous and particulate emissions and improved efficiency. The combustion efficiency on the same device grew by 1,9%, the CO content dropped by 39%, the NOx content by 51% and the particle emission by 18%. In addition the typical overshoot after the start of the gasification and combustion process in such devices has been shortened from an average of 30 minutes to just 10 minutes. The compensated lambda regulation principle has a particular value because it improves the performance in any operational condition, not only in a controlled laboratory conditions.
