Hrpelje Kindergarden anniversary

This year, our local kindergarden in Hrpelje celebrated its 40th anniversary. To help them celebrate, Atech prepared a little surprise for their aspiring innovators.

The children and staff at Hrpelje kindergarden shared their memories of the surprise with us:

Director Davor Jakulin and Katja Škrlj delivered a special package where we found a projector which we need for both children and adults. Davor and Katja were greeted by all the kindergarden children who sang a song for them and then had a chat and took some photos. The children promised Davor that “When, we’re bigger, we’ll be innovators”.
Thank you for the presents, visit and willingness to co-operate with us.

CCIS’s silver award for best innovation – Florian

The creators of Florian (Massimo Makovac, Martin Žerjal, Primož Podboj and Aleš Miklavec) and the representatives of the most innovative companies were given a speech by Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia and Samo Hribar Milič, the President of the Chamber of Commerce.

ATech registered the new innovation Florian as an intelligent device that automatically regulates the draft in a flue gas pipe. It is the only one of its kind not only in Europe but in the world. When installed on the flue gas pipe used for wood burning stoves, Florian automatically regulates the draft in the chimney pipe generating the optimal combustion conditions in the stove.

During the 11th Day of Innovation on the 17th September 2013 at the Brdo Congress Centre (Kranj), one of the innovators (Martin Žerjal) received recognition for Florian. The Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia awarded the best innovators in Slovenia for 2012 – 11 gold, 20 silver and 9 bronze awards, and 2 recognitions. The Day of Innovation and the National Best Innovation award ceremony is the highest recognition for the innovative achievements of Slovenian companies.

Golden FLORIAN brings ATech the entry in the global market

The aim of the project is the promotion of innovation activities, as a sustainable development of the state economy and promotion of entrepreneurship. As the new innovation ATech registrated Florian, an intelligent device that automatically  regulates the draft in the flue gas pipe and it is the only kind in Europe and around the world. Florian is installed on the flue gas pipe used for wood log stoves and by automatically regulating the draft in the chimney pipe, generates optimal combustion conditions in the stove.

Authors of Florian, Massimo Makovac, Martin Žerjal, Primož Podboj, Miha Polajnar and Aleš Miklavec, received the recognitions at the 13th award ceremony on 2 July 2013. The ceremony was held at the headquarter of the Chamber of Commerce Primorska in Koper, where they awarded the best innovators in the region for 2012.

Renewable energy sources represent a great opportunity for ATech

Atech’s latest developments have been focused on the field of wind energy, which is increasingly evolving and represents a potential market for ATech. The company has joined a consortium of European partners who will, through their technological know-how, expertise and quality, participate in the Optiwind program. This is a program that is funded by the European Union, and the aim is to improve the efficiency of small wind turbines (less than 50 kW).

By participating in European projects, ATech is opening up new areas for cooperation and partnership, promoting information exchange and upgrading knowledge and experience in the field of biomass and renewable energy sources. This is an area where ATech has in recent years been building the brand FUMIS by ATech. This brand is becoming more and more important for the company’s business, because it already provides about a quarter of the annual business revenue.

ATech recognized as a Hidden Champion 2011

Among 161 companies ATech was recognized by CEEMAN as a Hidden Champion 2011.
